Support at Little Leaps
Little Leaps offers clinical services including family and dyadic play therapy, art therapy, and caregiver support. My approach integrates creative modalities, systems-informed thinking, and a culturally humble lens to ensure every child and family feels seen, heard, and truly valued.
You can expect thoughtful, attentive care for you and your child as we work together to find and follow a path forward. Developmentally-guided and trauma-informed, therapy at Little Leaps centers you and your child’s individual differences and unique strengths to ensure the support you receive helps your family to thrive.
At Little Leaps, every step matters—no matter how small.
Meet Alynn
Originally from the east coast, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and American Studies from Smith College in 2012 before moving to Chicago to earn a Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2019. To further my training, I completed a Masters-level certificate program in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health from Erikson Institute in May of 2024.
In my work, I prioritize attuned, collaborative relationships—with children, caregivers, and all those who support them—as the foundation for lasting change. My previous experience includes clinical work with children, adolescents, and their families in medical, school, community, youth development, outpatient, and higher education settings. While I value the opportunity to work with kids of all ages, I especially enjoy working with children eight years and younger and their grown-ups.
I understand that caring for your child can be both meaningful and challenging, and I have deep reverence for the demands and stressors faced by parents outside of caregiving. I am honored to be with you to reflect, guide, grieve, commiserate, and celebrate.
Whether you’re navigating big feelings, behavioral challenges, or simply seeking a space for connection, I’m here to walk alongside you.
